In Memory of "Toro" cookie

Toro was born November 2011. Despite being the runt of the litter he grew to be the most efficient squeaky toy assassin, with an unmatched skill set. His favorite things were camping, pizza and being as close to his humans as possible. He's been the best, most loyal boy anyone could ask for.

Unfortunately he has “Protein losing nephropathy” and despite his owner immediately getting treatment he is being provided end of life care.

We were originally going to be donating $1 for each "Toro" cookie purchased to his owner for the treatments he needed. Unfortunately since he took a turn for the worst we are going to celebrate him the best way we can. With his owner's agreement we are donating $1 for each "Toro" cookie purchased to the Emergency Pet Fund for the Green Acres Veterinary Hospital. With the funds more animals can get treatment when they need it and hopefully future furbabies lives saved.

She chose the Green Acres Veterinary Hospital not just because it was her vet for him but they were also able to get him in immediately. Dr. Gerard, their internal medicine vet specialist was the sweetest, most personable, gentlest vet she’s ever met. Despite the bad news, she recieved the best care and respect from the staff. She hopes that this can make a difference for others.
